Holcim, one of the world’s largest cement producers, is implementing new transportation systems. Their will is to reduce their costs and their carbon footprint by replacing 40T trucks with 50T trucks.
To illustrate this project, they asked our team to cover a transport between the Soignies quarry and the Dampremy concrete plant. The loading and unloading times being very short, we followed a driver on several round trips, in order to be able to photograph the complete cycle. It also allowed us to combine the realization of ground images and aerial images with the drone.
